The sun was shining on our wonderful supporters last month, when they took on The Chocolate 5K at Rowheath Pavillion in Bournville to raise money for Birmingham Hospice.
Over 800 amazing participants ran, walked, hopped and skipped their way to the finish line whilst enjoying some delicious chocolate treats around the route.
Beccy Richards, Senior Events Manager said “The support for this event has been truly humbling, from the energy and fundraising efforts of the 800 people taking part to the hard work and dedication of our wonderful volunteers, who make this event possible, it has been incredible. We’ve raised more than £26,000 so far and with money still coming in, we hope to bring in over £30,000 from this event.”
“This will make a huge contribution to ensuring we can continue providing care to those with life-limiting conditions and supporting their families”
