I’ve worked in Palliative and Bereavement care for over 15 years. I started as a Hospital Play Specialist, then worked on Intensive Care as Family Liaison, supporting families through end of life for over eight years. I have been working here at Birmingham Hospice for nearly five years, supporting children facing the loss of a loved one and offering bereavement support after that person sadly dies.
I am passionate about children being informed and prepared for difficult things and use the art of memory making to facilitate this. I am proud of the job I do and work hard alongside some wonderful colleagues. A hospice really is a wonderful place to work.
